Our Forest House

Our Forest Ranger House was built over 130 years ago and was used as the original Forest Ranger Station for Harz Mountains in the village of Riefensbeek.

In the beginning of the 70‘s, the Forest House was bought by the Berliner Veterinarian Dr. Ulrich Rogge and it has been enjoyed by his family as a vacation home ever since.

Totally renewed by his daughter, we are now inviting guests to enjoy this unique and beautiful property with us.

Our vacation house is surrounded by the river Söse on two sides and is located in the beautiful Söse valley near the Söse reservoir lake, in the village of Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken, a National Park-holiday resort in the Harz Mountains National Park of Germany.
